Ordinations for the Archdiocese 2019

Transitional Diaconate Ordination

On Saturday, May 11, Archbishop Lori will ordain the following men as deacons on their journey to the priesthood:

  • Zachary Crowley
  • Brendan Fitzgerald
  • Evan Ponton
  • Jeremy Smith

This celebration will take place at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Baltimore. There will be a choir rehearsal at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen on SATURDAY, May 4 from 10am to 12noon.

Permanent Diaconate Ordination

Priesthood Ordination

On Saturday, June 22, Archbishop Lori will ordain the following men as priests for the Archdiocese of Baltimore:

  • Matt Defusco
  • Matt Himes
  • Tyler Kline

This celebration will take place at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore. There will be a choir rehearsal in the choir room at the Cathedral on Monday, June 17 from 7 to 9 pm.

Dress for these events will be black and white. Seating in the balcony at the Basilica is limited. Please sign up early to make sure that there will be space available. The Cathedral balcony does not have an elevator.

Chrism Mass 2019

The annual Archdiocesan Chrism Mass will take place on Monday, April 15 at 7:30 pm at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen in Baltimore. A rehearsal will be held on Monday, April 8 from 7 to 9 pm in the choir room for all interested singers.

We will sing from the Cathedral balcony and follow the archdiocesan choir dress code.

2017 School Convocation Mass

Singers and instrumentalists are invited to participate in the music ministry for the 2017 School Convocation Mass on August 31 at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen.

Music will be emailed ahead of time to those who sign up through Eventbrite. One rehearsal will be held at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen (5200 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21210) on Thursday morning, August 31 at 8:30am. Mass with Archbishop Lori starts at 10am.

Dress code will be normal Archdiocesan Choir Dress (black and white with a splash of color – red preferred for this votive Mass of the Holy Spirit).
